The Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has visited President Bola Tinubu with his son, Isyaku Abdulsamad Khalifa, to convey goodwill wishes on Nigeria’s 66th Independence anniversary.

Rabiu posted photographs of the visit on his X account on Friday, describing the meeting as an opportunity to celebrate the country’s progress since independence and express confidence in its future.

He said he was honoured to meet the President again, accompanied by Khalifa, and extend his greetings on the anniversary.

The industrialist also congratulated Nigerians at home and abroad, expressing hope for greater national unity, peace and prosperity.

“May our beloved country continue to enjoy peace, unity, progress and prosperity,” he wrote.

Nigeria attained independence from British colonial rule on October 1, 1960, with the anniversary observed annually as a national public holiday.
